The KOD is requested to call the speaker the Monday before the meeting. This will give the KOD a chance to see if the speaker has any special needs and is a good time to verify information about the speaker so they can make a proper introduction. Also get the speaker’s address so we can send a copy of the Builder. OPENING:Dave Kelley lead the pledge and Ed Schenck gave the invocation.

PRIZE WINNER: Courtney CrispeKOD Joe Lavigne introduced Jeff Lamontagne who spoke about the Second Wind Fund
The Second Wind Fund provides funding for counseling for teens at risk for suicide. This group is unique in the United States and they are Colorado based. They partner with churches, corporate sponsors and civic clubs such as Kiwanis and individual volunteers to raise funds for this sole purpose.
Their 4th Annual Walk Fund Raiser is Sunday, Sept. 18. For more information go to www.jeffersonfoundation.org.
