Dick Headstrom announced that President Keith McDonald suffered a stroke over the weekend. He is recovering and we will keep him in our prayers.

PRIZE WINNER: Doug HelmKOD Reda Walsh introduced speaker Barb Fuller. Barb is a teacher in the Jefferson County School System and has been a member of the Alameda West Kiwanis Club in Lakewood since 1997. For the past five years she has focused on the Key Club.
Barb told us how the Key Leader Program focuses on five areas. Personal Integrity, Personal Growth, Respect, Building Community and the Pursuit of Excellence. This program is open to students from 8th grade to Seniors. The main focus is to serve students from 14 to 16 years of age. This program is open to students who would not normally have an opportunity to attend a leadership conference.
The next Key Leader Program is Oct 6 – 8 in Evergreen. They are looking for 10 (male and female) chaperones for this program. The cost is $150 to sponsor a student. For more information go to www.Key-Leader.org.
